Resort/Unit Description: The Coffs Harbour condos share the grounds with the Novetel Pacific Bay Resort. The condos are located in a terraced building on a hillside above the main hotel. Not all of the condo units belong to WMSP.

A terraced building means steps. From the parking level under the building it was two floors up to our unit. While there are no elevators we were offered bell service to help with our luggage, so if you don't want to carry luggage upstairs there is an alternative. Our unit was a two bedroom lockoff on the second level. There was one more level above us. We had a view from our balcony looking down at the pool and spa area and out over the golf course to the hotel buildings on the other side. There is no barbecue grill on the balcony. The resort is close to the beach with direct beach access but there is no ocean view from any of the units.

There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom. The master bath has a jetted tub and the second bathroom has an oversize shower. In the master bathroom is a 110V outlet, marked as a shaver outlet, which is common in most tourist hotels. We used it to charge our electric toothbrushes which were the only items we had which would not operate on 220V.

There is a small convenience store located on the golf course where I walked each morning to buy a paper. 133 steps down the hill to the golf course, the same 133 steps back up to our condo. You could follow the road or even drive and avoid most of the steps.

The golf course is operated by the Pacific Bay Resort and I assume it is available to those staying in the WorldMark units. Not being a golfer I did not look into that aspect of the resort. There is a restaurant in the check in building for the resort but we did not eat there. There are also two computers available there for internet access, operated by the Pacific Bay Resort. The charge was $5 for 20-30 minutes, $10 for twice as much time. That seems high, although not untypical for a resort hotel. I didn't use the computers but I suspect it was a high speed connection.

The Good: October in Australia is springtime and there were blooming flowers and trees everywhere. The weather was beautiful, we had breakfast outside on the balcony each morning. All in all, we enjoyed the resort very much.

The Bad: Nothing to add here.
